New residents must
obtain Georgia driver's license and automobile tags within 30 days of
establishing residence.
Driver's licenses
may be purchased
at the following locations:
Georgia Highway Patrol Post 7, Toccoa, 706 282-4532
Tuesday through Friday.
Franklin County Tax Commisioners Office, Carnesville,
706 384-3455, first Tuesday of every month
National Guard Armory,
Hartwell, 706 856-2699,
last Tuesday of every month
Elbert County
Courthouse, Elberton, 706 283-2023,
every Tuesday and Wednesday
Driver's License Center, On the Mall, Toccoa, 706 282-4821
Automobile tags may be purchased
